Can’t that fuckweasel be the first billionaire to lose the citizenship he fraudulently obtained, lose his ability to sit on the board of any corporation with DoD contracts, and boot his sorry ass outta here?

One would imagine this path Neal! Ridding ourselves of his phallus fuckery isn’t going to be easy, he’s obviously a Putin puppet, just like the career criminal wastrel the willfully ignorant just elected… getting the fuck out of this country, if a 14 amendment-section 3 challenge isn’t successful is all I’ve got!

Put Elmo the douchebag on next boat out of here. The conflict, corruption and ownership of American presidency so vast and in our faces we’ve become laughingstock of the world.

Nelson Mandela served as President of South Africa, served hard prison time for speaking against apartheid and is a world hero and freedom fighter. Musk lived in South Africa until he was 17 and seems to have absorbed apartheid as an acceptable way of governing. We already have economic apartheid in America. I don't want apartheid as a government practice here.

For decades, the GOP has been jonesing for a Peron-style single party majority government in the US. With just enough of a Potemkin opposition to give the (not very convincing) appearance of free dissent and debate. Not sure how this will play out but, we might get a hit Broadway show tune, "Don't Cry for Me Mar-a-Lago" in a few decades.

It is tempting to think of President Musk and VP Trump in terms of the relationship between Adolph Hitler and Ernst Roehm, head of the Sturm Abteilung (SA), the brown shirted thugs who helped Hitler rise to power. Like Roehm, Musk sees himself as indespensible, the leader's right hand man, and tends to be confused about who is actually in charge. As Musk shares with Trump an aversion to history, he is no doubt unaware of how things ended for Roehm, in the Nacht der langen Messer ("night of the long knives").

It couldn't come quickly enough, as far as I'm concerned

There is the saving grace there, The Supreme Narcissist cannot abide playing 2nd fiddle to anyone, at least as it appears on the surface, and these guys are HEAVILY into surface.

As Chalmers Johnson observed in his excellent work, "The Sorrows Of Empire", "Things that can't go on forever... don't."

Sometimes the best course of action is to get out of the way of a self-destructing régime and simply endure until it blows itself up.

2025-2026 will be years of opportunity.

A National Guard sergeant of a friends' platoon once told them, "Know what's necessary."

Simple words, loaded with wisdom.

Also:

"the serenity to accept the things I cannot change;

courage to change the things I can;

and wisdom to know the difference."

I don’t think anyone should refer to DOGE as if it had any official purpose or standing. Actually, I don’t think anyone should refer to it at all. It’s just a shill to gain brand recognition for Musk’s dodgy crypto grift and even mentioning it is getting played.

The NYT didn't really do its job. The headline was about supporting a "right-wing party" (so what's new?), omitting its ties to neo-Nazis. The story itself partially covered it, weakly.

Thank you for your observations. I have a well respected older gentleman in Germany who says this shit is going on all over the place. This man was born right at the end of World War II in Berlin and knows what he’s talking about. Nazis are bad! And our friend says Germany is under a lot of pressure from these kind of people. He also wonders what the hell happened to America! I don’t call it America anymore, I call it Amerikkkan.

Elon’s ambition is to rule the world. He believes his welfare $ From the American government can accomplish that goal. He intends That $2 trillion to rob American citizens should go to his coffers. But i’m thinking tRump’s ego isn’t liking all the attention Elon is getting taking the spotlight away from him. I’m wondering down the road what and if he can retaliate against Elon out of sheer jealousy. Even tho Elon’s $ bought him the election. Strictly so Elon can run America. He doesn’t give a crap about tRump. He’s just using him. Woe be for normal American citizens. In my last years i have to experience all this hateful crap and not one thing i can do about it. My great grandbabies are inheriting a poisonous, murderous America if they even live that long after all the destruction being planned. 😢

DOGE- high ranking official in old Venice and Genoa that were both judge and jury. Their decisions were the law. Underlings were tasked to enforce the "executing" of the decisions.

Were they honest or compassionate? I'll leave the rest of the historical research to anyone who may have wondered where the word came from used in today's context. The attitude would seem similar.

It's named after a misspelling of "doggy." dog e. the Shibu dog on the image associated with the sale of the bitcoin. They aren't that bright.

"So, how did this humble misspelling of “dog” associated with the Shiba Inu breed become one of the most viral pieces of internet culture? The tale of Doge began in summer 2005 when it was mentioned in an episode of “Homestar Runner’s” puppet show. In the episode titled “Biz Cas Fri 1,” Homestar calls Strong Bad his “d-o-g-e” while trying to distract him from his work, marking the earliest known use of the slang term before it became attached to Shibas. Hardly a day goes by online that you won’t find yourself encountering “Doge” in some form or fashion. Whether it be a simple meme, discussion about the Dogecoin cryptocurrency or even just a picture of a Shiba Inu, the legendary Doge is arguably the most famous meme of all time."
