I know, Mia...but history has shown us, again and again, that ignoring allows them unchecked to prevail because you cannot ignore the human potential to embrace stupid. Every fascist regime has gained strength through good people just hoping if we ignore them they will go away. They won't. We have to fight back.
Here's the thing at this juncture...an entire group has so utterly abdicated reason, propriety, decency, shrugged off the basic trappings of humanity such that every utterance is fully absurd, every suggestion is awash in lunacy, and every nuance of their agenda is meant to stir the low information hornets.
Maybe we just leave them to it, essentially write off that portion of the house, stop giving them attention or mention, and let them chamber their repellant lapel pins within their self-created tombs of dumbassery.
