I think at some point Donald was so fucking stupid that it unmade and remade the universe for a bit there, or swapped us to some deviant timeline or something.

Mike "Hunt" Johnson is very obviously either a closeted homosexual who needs to get honest with himself, or has simply never been laid and is very angry that just about everyone else has.

Anyone who gives that much of a fuck about who's doing what in bedrooms other than their own is never a balanced individual.

My impression of him as well

This Is the same kind of Theocratic Bullshit that you get when you weaponise religion against people.

It's definetly a mindset that is not much different than beating, jailing, torturing , murdering young women for not wearing A Hijab.

It's criminalizing a woman for her choice, for crossing state lines. Its the hate created and fostered against homosexuals, lesbians, and all the rest of the alphabet.

And Just Think!!!

They are not in Power. Can you just imagine what the US is going to look like after they get into power?

YOU really don't want to know.

The Republican Plan after 2024 is another discussion completely

Johnson seems a little over vigilant re: his and others’ johnsons, if you know what I mean. Seems a marker for possible abuse issues. It is not unusual for men who have been sexually abused by men( and god knows churches are the place to find these people), to be terrified( trauma bonded) to homosexuality..

My thoughts exactly, me thinks thou dost protest too much! When they obsess about other people’s sex lives, and morals, it’s generally a deflection from admitting their own secrets. Oh see how the evangelists fall from Grace when people begin to tell the truth!

The more we find out, the worse we feel about the new Speaker. But I can’t look away. Airing the idiocy seems to be the only way forward.

Don’t look away! They are a threat, whether or not you can do anything about it at least be a witness to what they do.

We have met the enemy and it is us.

I’m counting on Churchill’s paraphrased description of us: “The American people will do the right thing, only after they’ve tried everything else”.

And the Wall St movers and shakers know the danger to their portfolios if Trump and the Rs get all three branches of govt. (they already bought the judicial).

Johnson speaks like a guy who has definitely fantasized about having sex with other men, if not had it. We’ve seen this play out over and over again with these projectionist assholes.

Great piece here, thank you ⭐️

After that statement on Maine, did anyone ask Johnson for his theory on why none of the other “completely amoral societies” around the world, like Canada and most of Europe, don’t have anywhere near the level of gun violence and innocent deaths as the USA?

Great piece. It is a scary world we live in right now as people seem to want to believe liars and narcissists before they will believe the truth. Idiots abound

There is some kind of idiocy in this country that says the police can't do anything to protect someone when that person is being threatened regularly. Forty-one years ago, my first husband , a psychology professor, was shot to death by a student who had been threatening him for months. The student had been placed on psychiatric observation by his therapist in the local hospital. As soon as he was released, he got a gun & went to my husband's college office shared by another professor and at the time filled with students, including my husband's nephew. My husband was shot 5 times. Fortunately, it wasn't an AR-15. But the long story short is that we do not pay enough attention to the mentally ill and give them too much latitude even when they are crying for help.

A current example of people in charge not paying attention, is RFKjr's request for Secret Service protection, which in the past 55 years has been given to all presidential candidates. However, the Biden administration continues to say "NO"!

They can't give Secret Service protection to just everybody. I assume there's some qualifications like winning a primary election or raising a certain amount of money before you get protection. Because money rules this country.

Dr Fauci is a scientist and researcher who is highly respected both here and internationally. He has lead the battle and research on newly discovered plagues and viruses his whole career. His research has shown the way to many of the vaccines keeping you alive today, those you received as a child.

Don't smear people you know nothing about, it makes you look not very mature.

Hahahaha you think a drugged and delusional Kennedy is more important than Fauci. Drink another one.

I am aware of his history and background but personally I think he's a bit of a whack job. He's being funded by Republicans to help Trump win and he'll never get the office.

Expand full comment

He's never going to be president. If he feels threatened he could go back to his cushy life with his actress wife in California.

Found the whack job. You can look up how it works here: https://www.secretservice.gov/protection/leaders

It’s funny, you can tell the tinfoil hat wearers by statements like ‘Fauci has committed crimes against humanity’. Just take your ivermectin and bleach and go away.

JFK, Jr is not a legitimate candidate. He is a far right conspiracy spreader who has been thoroughly rebuffed by the whole Kennedy family since his beliefs are so off the rails.

Liz Cheney has described some House Republican Trump loyalists as not only glad to break the government but “frankly, some of whom are white supremacists, some of whom are Anti-Semitic.”

“I think Donald Trump is the single most dangerous threat we face,” Cheney concluded.

I’m a lifelong Democrat — since the Vietnam War, in fact, and frankly I never thought I’d be in full agreement with anyone named Cheney. But folks, on this she is 100% correct.

Yes, they are Dominionists, & believe that they should rule/be in charge of the 7 pilkars or mountains of society.

They have already taken over a lot of the judiciary & made deep inroads into education, & now they've moubted an all out assault on our govt. I hope its not too late to stop them.

Great Read, great writing. SO tired of it all, madness really, and we have ZERO say in anything! Great system, not.

I’m not a big believer in formal education, but my nerves… its serious absence in the US population is both depressing and horrifying. Illiteracy and innumeracy reign among a people that are prone to idiocy in any case. Hence, the dangerous chaos that currently reigns and will inevitably worsen.
