This vile and pathological preoccupation by men (and the demented women who support them) with suppressing women’s rights across the board is indicative of their own feelings of inadequacy and inferiority and their subsequent desire to impose their twisted and pathetic dreams of superiority on the world. Their underlying racism, sexism, self-loathing and profound ignorance make their frightening pervasiveness a threat and danger to all who don’t share their perverse worldview. They are truly despicable.

Am I angry yet?! You're damn right I'm angry!! This whole thing makes me envision violence. Even if the courts are successful in imprisoning the tangerine tumor, the movement toward complete white "Christian" supremacy won't be dismantled. We need a way to send a firm message: NO. GOING. BACK!

I can’t believe we have to fight for the rights to our own bodies.

Great piece of writing. Very informative. You bet I’m angry 😡. I’m a Canadian who watches what is happening next door like a hawk. It’s trying to seep into our politics as well. Keep up the good work Lady Much love from your Canadian cousins.

I’m absolutely furious. I’ve been furious since 2016 and I won’t be stopped by anyone stopping me from making the world safer for women and children. I can’t express enough about how disgusted and livid I am that so — too many cultists want there to be absolute power over all of us again. The entirety of this of fiasco laden events and “political discourse” is and will always be an absolute disgrace to anyone with a proper heartspace. And as the son of someone that’s a loving mother, I can’t let ANYONE stop me from keeping her and the only home we ALL share as safe as possible. Of course I’m angry. I’m just tired of the injustices I see and read of.

It might be useful to billboard major roads at state lines: "Warning: This State May Kill Pregnant Women"

Men are now getting vasectomies at Planned Parenthood sites. While I understand that if abortions cannot be performed, any man who won’t make a woman pregnant is one less woman who won’t receive proper care.

It’s interesting that when women’s reproductive rights are removed, men suddenly consider using condoms or getting vasectomies. Until very recently contraception was almost always utilized only by a woman. She was always shamed for an unwanted pregnancy while the baby daddy was rarely part of the discussion.

Soon we will be seeing a revival of orphanages, and already the evangelical community has pregnancy centers where pregnant women can live, receive care, and join the movement of Christianity in order to receive God’s forgiveness.

I cried for a full week after the Supremes left women to fend for themselves in this new and tragic America where women are once again relegated to the kitchen and bedroom, by many men who will go in living their lives, unchallenged by the “weaker” sex. A BIG win for Christian Nationalism.

Whilst agreeing with this post I have to call out a slight inaccuracy. Some women do react badly to some forms of birth control, whether hormonal or otherwise. For myself, I was initially fine on the pill but after a few years it started to cause issues. I later switched to the copper coil, no hormones at all and I was fine for a few months before I started bleeding excessively. I was then switched to the Mirena coil and was absolutely miserable for over a year before giving up and asking for it to be removed.

My point is that some people will get on with some forms of birth control, others won't. My experience will not be the same as the next person in line for contraception advice from their doctor. But there are a huge variety of effective birth control options available, and women should have easy and affordable access to all of them so that they can find the one that works for them.

I’m beyond angry. I need to invent a new word to express the utter distress I feel over women losing rights over their own bodies. It’s like witnessing a horrible car accident, but in slow motion. 50 years of choice circling the drain. We were lied to with the reassurance that “Roe was settled law”. We can’t allow these insane christian nationalists/anti-abortionists to follow through with their Handmaid’s Tale-esque fever dream. We need to first, take out the garbage and vote like our lives depend on it, then keep fighting for our girls. We can’t go back.

I have two daughters around 40 y.o., and two granddaughters who will soon be entering their child-bearing years. I also have three close women friends who’ve been raped—let’s leave it at that. Am I angry, too? You’re damn right I’m angry! I want my daughters and granddaughters—along with everyone else’s!—to have the same rights I do, and the same rights all men do by default. Where the f do these wankers get off telling women what to do? And I’ve long since come to understand it’s as much an economic issue as it is a political and self-determination issue (although that last one clinches it, for sure). The economics is plain: Keep women in their place, especially if they’re lower-income. Rich white women will always be able to get an abortion when they need one (and often it’s a rich guy paying for it, don’t forget), even if it means flying out of the country. I could go on, but you get the picture. Vote Blue to be True in November.

I’ve been angry. All these weak men afraid of a woman being allowed to have her own mind. If they weren’t so weak they wouldn’t be afraid. Women are tired of men thinking they need to be controlled because they can be a real man and be a decent human being and treat them with the equal respect they deserve

Unbelievably thorough analysis of what’s happening. I made the mistake of actually watching Charlie Kirk in action. I’d avoided him previously and now that I see what a complete charlatan he is I’ll try to speak out against him whenever possible. That might help get the feeling that I’m about to throw up abate soon. OMG.
